BM Tech Limited is a privately owned limited company, founded in 2005 by Ben and Melissa Morley. Ben gained a BEng Environmental Engineering with Honours at Cranfield University in 1999.
Initially the company designed and supplied pumping equipment typically used for pumping silts, sand and gravel for quarries and dredging companies. Following completion of a silt removal contract at Connah’s Quay CCGT power station and the financial crash in 2008 it was clear a change in direction was required.
Eon Power at Connah’s Quay CCGT asked BM Tech to investigate the recycling of their cooling tower plastic waste which culminated in the building of a prototype mobile plant specifically for the job. Today that mobile plant has become fixed at our Recycling site in South Derbyshire. We continue to learn but can now successfully recycle this unique waste stream and we are the only company specifically recycling Cooling tower and Waste water media.
